DANA PHILANTHROPY wins prestigious STEP Private Client Award!

DĀNA PHILANTHROPY has won the Philanthropy Team of the Year award at the STEP Private Client Awards, which took place November 7th, 2018 in London. 

Held by STEP, the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, the Awards are highly regarded as a celebration of excellence across the private client world. All entries go through a rigorous, practitioner-led judging process to select the best in the industry.


The Philanthropy Team of the Year category had a strong set of finalists, with DĀNA PHILANTHROPY beating banks ABN AMRO MeesPierson Private Banking, Coutts & Co, and law firms Farrer & Co, and Herbert Smith Freehills to the prize. 


The Judges said: 

‘DĀNA PHILANTHROPY demonstrated not only technical excellence and professionalism, but real passion, heart and commitment to the promotion of meaningful and impactful philanthropy.’

Congratulating all the winners, STEP worldwide chair, Patricia Wass TEP said, ‘The Private Client Awards are a marvellous way to promote and celebrate best practice and high standards. We have seen some excellent work over the last year, and our winners – and indeed our runners-up – should be proud of themselves. Our congratulations to them all.’


Over 600 private-client professionals and guests gathered for the Awards at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, which was hosted by TV presenter and former gymnast Gabby Logan. 


The event supported Operation Smile for a second year. Donations from entrants raised nearly GBP72,000 for the charity, which provides free surgery for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
